Mr. Lazy,

In one week’s time, I will be eating dinner at your place! You have been very un-lazy in your meal preparations. It looks delicious so far!

Or actually, I think at this time next week, we will be going to a hockey game! I am going to research your hockey team, so we can pretend to be knowledgeable fans.

There is not much new with me – I have been a little bit lazy lately. But I did see my fourth movie of 2012 last week: The Iron Lady.

I pretty much hated it. Given the luke warm reviews, I had decided against seeing it, but when Meryl Streep won the Oscar, I changed my mind. I wish I hadn’t. I would only recommend seeing it if you like watching people with Alzheimer’s trapped in their homes having flashbacks of their past glories and better health.

Speaking of British women with power, I started this book tonight:

It is quite interesting so far! Queen Elizabeth really likes horses, but refuses to wear a riding helmet, because she prefers her Hermes scarves.

OK – tootle loo!

Hello Mr. Lazy,

That show that looks like Eco-Challenge looks good!

I forgot to tell you that I saw my third movie of the year last weekend: Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. It was about a kid whose dad died in 9/11, and it was very well-made. It was not schmaltzy or sentimental. I would recommend it, though it doesn’t appear that everyone agrees (it only gets 45% on Rotten Tomatoes).

You know what movie gets 97% on Rotten Tomatoes? The Artist That remains my Oscar pick for best picture, and I really want the French dude to win best actor. You need to see it already!

This is what I’m working on now:
